Water run-off was causing major erosion beneath this bridge. Laser Scanning was used to gather topographical information on the current state of the ground under the bridge. Due to safety concerns the area was innaccessible and all 3-D measurements were taken remotely with Laser Scanning. This data was used by the customer to analyse the slope stability to design the necessary remedies from the data at their desktop.
